You can see waterfalls, rock climbing, and mountain goats. It is peaceful and is usually partially shaded. It's a great place to go even during hot days.

Like to climb, scramble up rocks, sled down a packed trail or summit a peak that looks over the whole valley? Rock Canyon has it all for outdoor rec. .8 miles up the trail is a natural drinking fountain that runs all summer. 1.5 miles and you will hit all 5 bridges. Enjoy the spring run-off or the winter sled - hike up a mile and slide all the way down. Or if you have time, hike to the top of Rock Canyon Peak (Squaw Peak).
