Even if you don't play golf the views from the club are spectacular. You can park the car from several locations and just enjoy the view. If you do play golf, I recommend the back 9 holes if it's a decision between 9 or 18 holes so that you get to enjoy the bay while playing. The course itself is quite good and they rent clubs and trolleys or carts.

Beautiful views from every hole on the course. Pricing is not too bad for a round of golf either.

Take a ride to the top of the hill past Waitangi Museum and venture on to the Gold Club for Burgers and a coffee or beer. It's open to anyone and the views are a must. It's got a large old school clubhouse and the best vista around.
