Teton County has lots of activities at their Fairgrounds throughout the summer. Stop by and see if they have anything planned during your stay. Over the 4th of July weekend they always do a big Hot Air Balloon race around the valley and dozens of ballons come to the valley. It is a beautiful sight to see them all glowing as they pass the Tetons in the morning. One thing our family loves is the weekly Rodeo in the summer. It is a true country rodeo and if you have not been to one you should join us. It is a blast. Bring your blanket because it gets cold when the sun goes down.

Hot air balloons launch from the Teton County Fairgrounds in Driggs, Idaho just after sunrise each morning during the 4th of July weekend. (July 2-5, 2020) This grand tradition is a unique and awe-inspiring way to celebrate the July 4th holiday. Spectators are encouraged to arrive no later than after 6:30 am.
