Great trip around the islands, entertaining skipper. Almost guaranteed to see NZ fur seals. Nearby is the (free) Marine Information Centre and coastal plant garden. Chaddy's office also doubles as a small museum. There are seahorses, and a 'penguin cam' - a live link to penguins in their burrow. Generally nesting August/September-November.

Chaddy's charter is where you can take a sea trip on his boat and visit the Sugar Loaf Islands off port Taranaki. He takes you out to view the seal colonies.

Family friendly boat tour around the islands of New Plymouth. Also a starting point for the Coastal Walkway. Bike hire available.

Chaddy's is one of the oldest attractions in Taranaki. The wildlife boat cruise is quite an experience giving you a closer look as well of the Sugarloaf Islands. You could also hire paddle boards, kayaks and bikes there.
