If you are non-vegetarian there is absolute must you try Bosnian traditional food famous in the region and the world: 1. Bosnian Burek. Burek is a baked phyllo pastry filled with meat, traditionally made in the former Ottoman Empire. Buregdžinica Bosna is by far the best burek place in Sarajevo, a place where every burek lover returns whenever he visits the city. The price is hard to beat. So I can recommend to someone on a budget, or someone who like to taste original local food. They offer Turkish tea as well.

Everyone should take time in Bosnia for a good burek ( or sirnica / zeljanica / tikvanica ). This is the right place. Food deserves 5 stars. :)
