Cute local chain over by Publix with old school deli subs with freshly sliced deli meats and cheeses. Not fancy, but seriously yummy after a long bike ride or outdoor excursion (hint: toss the cooler in the car with water bottles and pick up before heading to off-island adventures). We loved to grab a few of these before driving up to Siesta Key to kayak off Turtle Beach or driving over to Lake Myakka State Park. My kids especially enjoyed the salami and ham subs as well as their steak and cheese.
