You will also get to know how they have become such an important part of our community. Moda is a lively, artsy, and close-knit community that has taken an entirely new approach to the care of its street cats and dogs. Our focus has been to ‘adopt’ stray animals as a community- not as individuals- to tag and feed our four-legged friends, to provide medical help when needed, and of course to shower them with love and affection. You and a group of friends will learn about the ancient technique of jewellery making through sand casting while enjoying the tastes of an award-winning Cretan boutique winery. Found nowhere else in Greece, this workshop is a hands-on experience for up to a maximum of 10 attendees including yourself. You will be taught the ancient art of sand casting and with your choice of silver (.925) or gold (10k, 14k, 18k) you will cast and polish a beautiful piece of jewellery to keep. This workshop will take place at the picturesque Manousakis winery, located just outside of Chania city. Here you will be surrounded by Cretan nature and indulge in the fine crafted wines and winery grown foods. The entire experience will take.place outside in a well ventilated area. The experience begins downtown Ponta do Sol, near the beach and supermarket where you can buy your last snacks and drinks for the journey. The first hour we will go upstream Ponta do Sol river, that will take us to a "levada" walk, where we will find a hidden waterfall. In the second hour we go up the mountain to do the sheperd's tour and be delighted with wonderful landscapes, wildlife and pure Nature. The third hour will be spent on preparing traditional food and drinks for a gastronomic experience, in a old sheperds shelter. The last 3 hours of the tour will be spent mostly in the Laurisilva endemic forest, in the north side of the island, which will take you to to the heart of the island and it's origins. For the end of this experience, I will take you back to the south coast for an amazing sunset. Other things to note Be prepared for adventure and some adrenaline. I'm going to be telling some stories about these landscapes and ecological value, the way older generations built these roads and water channels.

It is an Ottoman architectural beauty with its indoor giant columns, stain glasses, Iznik tiles and beautiful classic dome patterns. 4- Next is another hidden gem visit. Have a break for tea and coffee (optional closed on Mondays). 5- Short walking to HAGIA SOPHIA. It is a structure between heaven and earth. A total of 3 bars in 3 hours in Monastiraki, Psirri and surrounding areas. Whether you're a solo traveler, a couple or a group of friends, join us to discover Local Alternative Bars off the beaten path in Athens! Our night starts at the meeting point (Monastiraki Square) where everybody’s checking in on time. Then we’ll walk to our first stop, one of my favorite Bars: Operating through a hole in the wall, a DIY Bar featuring local artists exhibitions, Electronic music DJs, pop up bazaars and their signature Cocktail with homemade jam! We’ll have a drink, meet & greet with the group and continue to move from one bar to another (3 total). Different days have different routes and each spot offers a round of shots for the road & are exclusively selected based on the theme, location, music, art and/or delicious cocktails. Throughout the night, we'll offer you recommendations for places you can visit on your own time, we'll play bar & drinking games, dance to the music if you may and have a night to remember!
