(35 min. drive) This is one of our favorite places to take a walk. In addition to the lake, there's a trail beside a creek that leads to an old cedar grove. It's two miles long and relatively flat. Additionally, you can choose to extend your hike up the mountain to experience the beautiful views and a waterfall.

3707 S Zephyr Rd(35 min. drive) This is one of our favorite places to take a walk. In addition to the lake, there's a trail beside a creek that leads to an old cedar grove. It's two miles long and relatively flat. Additionally, you can choose to extend your hike up the mountain to experience the beautiful views and a waterfall.
If you have time for a two-hour drive, Palouse Falls is a must-see. Bring your camera!

A bicyclist's dream, the 40-mile paved, mostly flat trail stretches from Sontag Park in Nine Mile Falls, WA to the Washington / Idaho state line. It continues another 24 miles beyond the Washington state border into Idaho as the North Idaho Centennial trail through Post Falls and into Coeur d'Alene.

Centennial TrailA bicyclist's dream, the 40-mile paved, mostly flat trail stretches from Sontag Park in Nine Mile Falls, WA to the Washington / Idaho state line. It continues another 24 miles beyond the Washington state border into Idaho as the North Idaho Centennial trail through Post Falls and into Coeur d'Alene.

The closest trailhead is in Plummer, ID, about 45 minutes from the guest suite. Note that the trail is mostly flat except at both ends of the trail at Plummer and Wallace. We usually start our bike rides at the Rose Lake, Medimont or Harrison trailheads. Harrison is a charming town and a good place to take a break.
