It's a beautiful small lake that's just a mile or so from the cabin.
Manzanita Lake
Beautiful lake with an easy hike around it. Worth a stop.
Subway Cave Lava Tubes
Amazing place to explore for a short day trip.
A nice day trip would consist of visiting the lava tubes (also in guidebook) on the way to Burney Falls to explore.
