The food is amazing. It also has one of the best designed bars to sit and enjoy -- I often sit on my own and feel totally comfortable in a friendly, neighborhood atmosphere. In addition to the delicious and seasonal menu, some of the best craft cocktails in Washtenaw County.

Great atmosphere, centrally located, delicious food, great weekend brunch menus. If the weather is good, sit in the sidewalk cafe and watch the weirdos of Ypsi parade. Really delicious, they often have public events in the underground (basement) of the restaurant. Be sure to ask what is on the schedule!

Head behind the Ypsi Food Co-Op to the parking lot next to the train tracks and you will find this hidden gem tucked away. They pour an exceptional cup of coffee, roasted on the premises. Delicious.

Drinks & Nightlife
I have a hard time really calling this a bar because it is more of a community spot. You will see families, professors, friends, neighbors, all gathering for a pint and maybe a board game. Their kitchen is also pretty good. A wonderful place to read for an hour or two on a rainy day, knocking back a pint and watching the world go by. They have a terrific outdoor beer garden as well. Old Ypsilantians called it The Corner -- the majority of us old 'uns still do.

Great music, central location, a great place to hang out. Check the website for hours and entertainment schedule. Musicians can be quirky, call before heading over to avoid heartbreak. Catching them at their best is soooooo worth it!
