Sightseeing
Mount Ulriken is right behind our house. You can hike up on your feet, or take the funicular. Excellent spot for enjoying the view, and for taking short or long hikes.
If you are up for a long hike, you can hike from Mount Ulriken to Mount Floien. It takes 4-6 hours.
Cable car to the top of Bergens highest mountain. Plenty of hiking opportunities, restaurant, tourist shop. Magnificent view. Easy access from Jonas Lies vei.

Funicular from the heart of Bergen to the top of Mount Fløien. A great ride with wonderful sights, and also a good starting point for a good hike for you no matter what age or shape.

Outdoor heated pool (27°C) at the Nordnes Sjøbad at the water’s edge is good. Diving board to the fjord if you feel like a viking. The facility is over 100 years old, a must see!

New science museum just a 20 minute walk from our house. If you need something to eat after, I recommend to walk 150 meters to Kaffebrenneriet (see other post in this guide).
