Urban Chestnut is a casual family seating style brewery right down the street. I'm a huge fan of wheat or weiss beers, Hogarten was my favorite for a long time, that was until I tried Schnicklefritz. So if you like wheat beers, you must try it! They have many other options and a place across the street for their new stuff. Great food, great atmosphere.

One of the few Botanical Gardens in the US to be located ACTUALLY IN THE LIMITS OF A CITY. Yes, I'm proud of our city and everything you can do here. The Botanical Garden is beautiful year round, but especially in the spring summer and fall. They have a great children's area with lots of climbing and things to do. Make sure you stop in the gift shop and sample Fleurish 1876 perfume. A perfume that I created which is inspired by St. Louis!

Bowood is a special place. They are a nursery, selling beautiful plants and flowers. They have one of the best gift shops in the city, and they have a fantastic restaurant called Cafe Osage where you should try the garden sandwich, made with fresh from the garden veggies!

Great food, burgers, schwarma and other middle eastern cuisine. I haven't had a bad thing there. The crowd, ambiance and service are all great!
