Right across the street from the cottage. Exquisite Italian food. Expensive, but worth it. Lovely atmosphere, whether indoors or out.

A great place to visit if you'd like a fancy and/or romantic night out. It's on the expensive side but worth the splurge. It's an easy stroll from the cottage, about half way down Main Street.

Excellent food and whiskey that never disappoints. It closes at 10:00 p.m. so be sure to make it one of your first stops. The Saloon is on on Park Avenue which runs parallel to Main Street. And, yes, it's walking distance from the cottage! The distillery is in Wanship and well worth the tour. High West is the first legally licensed distillery in Utah.

Both a tourist spot and a local favorite. It's usually crowded and noisy but it's definitely worth a walk through if only to see the random vintage decor. It's about a 5-minute stroll from the cottage.

Drink Coffee - Save Dogs! The coffee and the cause are awesome. The beans are roasted locally in Park City and I love Hugo Coffee so much I provide it to my guests. If you want to visit the coffee shop you can stop by on your way into or out of Park City as it's right at Kimball Junction (your exit into Park City from the I-80 freeway).

State Liquor Store

In Utah you can buy beer in grocery and convenience stores but not wine or liquor. For that you’ll need to go to a State Liquor Store. There’s one conveniently located on Swede Alley (close to where you’ll park if you have a car).

I love train rides and the Heber Valley Historic Railroad offers a selection of four depending on the season. There's a 3-hour ride through Provo Canyon, and 90-minute ride through Deer Creek, and then two tailored train rides for Christmas (North Pole Express) and Halloween (Pumpkin Train). It's a great way to relax, enjoy a bit of history and take in the beautiful Utah scenery.

The St. Regis Deer Valley features two buildings linked by a funicular tram from the Lower Resort building where the funicular tram terminal is located. From the base terminal, guests travel 550 feet via the funicular to the Upper Resort building above where you have three different dining options. It's worth going just for the ride (which is free) and the amazing views!

MDV is a lovely craftsman retreat with an amazing view! They do an outstanding job of inviting locals and tourists to enjoy their grounds, even if we aren’t paying the hefty price to spend the night. Gobble up FREE homemade s’more (offered daily from 4-5 pm on their Vista Terrace during the winter, 8-9 pm during the summer), delicious apres drinks (mulled wine and the like) AND Daly’s (be sure to try their Montage Mountain Ale, mac n’ cheese, onion rings and brussel sprouts while you bowl. Yup, brussel sprouts!). A must. Tip: if you visit Daly’s during peak winter weeks, bowl on ‘off’ hours (exactly at 11:30 am opening or 3-5 pm ish); otherwise, you will wait forever: https://www.montagehotels.com/deervalley/dining/dalys-pub/
