The nearest access point to the South Downs National Park. You can get a bus up here during the summer season.
Great viewpoint, walks along the ridge and down into the Dyke. There is a pub/ restaurant and facilities here, although I would recommend the Shepherd and Dog pub or the Royal Oak, both are a short walk along the ridge and down into Poynings village.

A beautiful park a short drive away, with fantastic walks through the woods and the iconic Stanmer House for a cup of tea afterwards. You can also get a bus/ train here.

A wonderful walk from the Marina along the seafront to Ovingdean, with the path running directly next to the sea. Great for a sunny day. You walk next to white cliffs beside the sea. There is a little cafe half way along.
