Parguera
Parguera is a 70 min drive from Rincon. You can reserve a skiff and head out to mangroves and reefs for snorkeling. It is also the site of the bioluminescence bay, which is best viewed under a new moon (I.e. less light).

Hiking
There are a number of hikes within an hour or so of Rincon. We recommend Charco El Pilón (near San German) and Laguna Guaniquilla (near Cabo Rojo). You can find both hikes on the AllTrails site/app. Gozalandia waterfall is also a popular site to visit, but is usually very crowded.

Snorkeling
There are plenty of beautiful reefs in Rincon. One of the most popular is located at Steps beach. You can drift down (left) to the Marina and view the protected reef the entire way, then walk back to where you started. Other great reefs in Rincon are located near the Spanish Wall and Indicators beach. If you’re willing to drive a bit farther, Rompeolas has a nice reef, and the beach itself has a ton of seaglass.

Farmer’s markets
The farmer’s market in Rincon is held on Sunday mornings and is located in the town square. Aguadilla has a much larger market on Saturdays from 8am-12pm and is located near the Ramey base.

Rainy day activities
Wait out the rain by visiting sites, shops, or cafes in town: Galeria Del Surf (local history museum), Ocean State of Mind, Trove, Caribbean Trading Post, or Cafe Terra are just some spots to keep you occupied. Rincon Skatepark is indoors, but only open 4 days a week (check their Facebook page for current info). The closest movie theatre is Caribbean Cinemas Aguadilla Mall, located 25 min away. Aguadilla Bowling Center is also located about 25 min away.
