A bit of a drive at 3 hours, but perfect for a coupleof day trip. Absolutely stunning views and wildlife. Honestly some of the views there just can't be beat.

Amazing tourist town about 45 min drive from my location, but we'll worth the drive. If your looking for some amazing food, souvenirs that range from small trinkets to fine art, amazing views and wildlife, Skiing resort and so much more, then this town has what your looking for.

A small town with a bunch to offer. Great new local grocery store, a few restaurant, equipment rental, Library, souvenirs, and a couple of hardware stores if needed. Also has a small local brewery called Melvin's which is worth a visit.

A small town but has quite a few things if needed; auto parts, a few restaurants and bars, grocery store, a hand full of medical specialists including message therapy, back specialists, vision and dentists.

About a 40 min drive south, but one of the larger towns in the area. Home of the historic antler arch, they also do a giant ice sculpture as you enter town. If you need something they have it most likely.

Day trip Ideas
Only an hours drive from me, perfect for a day trip. Go relax in pools that range from 103 degrees up to 114. With amazing views and friendly staff its definitely a spot to see. Would almost recommend getting a hotel for the night there then coming back because you will be very relaxed after a long soak.

Would almost recommend getting a hotel for the night there then coming back because you will be very relaxed after a long soak.
Lovely area and friendly staff, most of the pools are a bit small so get there early to take advantage. But if you find most are full, there is a larger base pool in the beginning which is very nice and good for a long soak still. Definitely make a reservation though.

Snow mobileing and Skiing.
Roads are always very well cleared and conditioned for cars and trucks. But if you want to travel by snow and have ski's or snowmobiles or if not you can rent a snow mobile in town. There are many fantastic snow mobile and cross country ski trails in the area.
