The beautiful medieval town of Vannes has much to offer. The wonderful architecture, stunning gardens, markets, marina, sightseeing boat and train rides, butterfly house and aquarium. Well worth a visit or two.

This archeological site shows an ancient village. It is open between July and August. It is outside so recommended for a dry day but a place of interest for those wishing to know more about the history of the area.

During the summer the local churches hold an event known as ‘L’art dans les chapelles’ in the centre of Morbihan. Certain religious buildings are open to the public for viewing artwork on display. These are free and the churches that participate are all local to this area, one being our own St. Nicolas and another the chapel at St. Nicodeme.
