Another great place to go for a walk, jog, bike ride, and even kayak or paddle board. The walking/jogging/biking path at the Augusta Canal runs along the Savannah River and is several miles long of smooth dirt and mostly shaded. This family friendly path consists of flat terrain and is a popular attraction for many. In the spring/summer, there is also a Kayak rental place located alongside the River, and one can rent Kayaks for the day! They also offer Paddle Board Yoga on some Saturday's in the Summer months for a small fee!

Augusta Canal Trail

The North Augusta Greenway is our favorite place to bike, walk, and jog. The North Augusta Greenway is another path that is several miles long, mostly shaded, and PAVED. The terrain is mostly flat (over 90% of is completely flat) ground) with only a few small rolling hills. There is an entrance located 2-minutes from our home on Bergen Road where you can drive and park you car before you enter the Greenway. There are always a fair amount of people on this path which makes it family friendly and a popular attraction to all locals and tourists. If you are looking for a convenient place to go before/after work for a relaxing walk, jog, or bike ride, The North Augusta Greenway is perfect.

At SRP Park, you'll find the upcoming downtown North Augusta scene featuring several dining options, a hotel with rooftop bar, trendy shops, and event spaces with fun attractions. SRP Park hosts more events than just baseball games all summer long - there are concerts to attend, movie nights on the field and Big Screen, and more! We highly recommend checking out Southbound Smokehouse located at SRP Park, then walking over to Swank Co to shop, and then taking a walk along the river on part of the North Augusta Greenway which runs next to the park.

Places to eat
The best sushi you will ever have! No seriously though, we love sushi and have personally tried close to 30 different sushi restaurants locally and when we travel to discover our new favorite... yet still, no restaurant compares to Tako Sushi. If you love Sushi, you MUST visit Tako Sushi. Our favorite sushi rolls are the Pyramid Roll, Crazy Susan Roll, and Biggest Loser Roll. The fried asparagus appetizer is also incredible!

If you love Sushi, you MUST visit Tako Sushi. Our favorite sushi rolls are the Pyramid Roll, Crazy Susan Roll, and Biggest Loser Roll. The fried asparagus appetizer is also incredible!

They even host different "themed" nights throughout the year and change their menu and decor inside to match the theme. We attended their "Camp Craft and Vine" themed dinner night which they hosted recently every night for an entire month and it was a truly memorable date night!

They have 30+ outdoor tables in a quaint courtyard with free wifi which makes this new coffee shop a local favorite for students/young professionals to study at and/or meet new people while enjoying a cup of Joe or Espresso year-round. They are closed on Sundays and Mondays so be sure to check them out Tuesday-Saturday.

They have 30+ outdoor tables in a quaint courtyard with free wifi which makes this new coffee shop a local favorite for students/young professionals to study at and/or meet new people while enjoying a cup of Joe or Espresso year-round. They are closed on Sundays and Mondays so be sure to check them out Tuesday-Saturday.

Our local mall with all your favorite department stores and mall food-court restaurants. They have added so many new stores lately, it's hard to name a favorite. Located right off I-20 approximately 20 minutes from your Airbnb!
