Peacefully paddle canoe in the lake Torskabotten, or go for an adventurous paddle all day through the larger lakes of Sävelången and Mjörn. There is a canoe rental in the village by the name: Sjölyckan The canoe rental lays right next to a very long lake that stretches from Floda to Ingared. Here you can also continue on through several large lakes for a complete day of adventure. A ten minute walk with the canoes (you are given a wagon to easily walk with them) and you will reach Torskabotten. Paddling on Torskabotten is a more peaceful and relaxing experience, there are less currents there and it is less windy, it is also a smaller lake. Either way is great fun!

There is a lovely restaurant in Tollered. Their name is: Nääs fabriker. They have a café, lovely boutiques and a brewery. They are beautifully located along Sävelången lake. There is also a downloadable app by the same name, (Nääs Fabriker) where you are able to find a guided route through Tollered and it’s buildings of national interest.

I particularly recommend the picturesque town of Alingsås. Here there are cozy cafés in old Swedish style architectural buildings.
