Hinesburg Town Forest

If you are visiting between January to March the ice castles in New Hampshire are a MUST! It is about two hours away from the cabin but it is breathtaking. Dress warm in snow gear and it is fun for all ages (even the real little ones as long as you dont plan on rolling a stroller around).

24 Clark Farm RoadIf you are visiting between January to March the ice castles in New Hampshire are a MUST! It is about two hours away from the cabin but it is breathtaking. Dress warm in snow gear and it is fun for all ages (even the real little ones as long as you dont plan on rolling a stroller around).
This is a very close ski place located near the cabin (about 20-30min away). Their website does currently state they do not rent gear due to COVID so check out the ski rental area in Richmond, VT near the cabin

Williston is the nearest town to the cabin that has your more commercial needs. There is Hannafords supermarket, Lowes, Home Depot, Walmart, plus your more commercial restaurants and coffee places such as Starbucks, Longhorn Steakhouse, Texas Roadhouse, pho, sushi, pizza, and more. This would also be the closest location for the cinema if wanting to catch a movie.

Vermont travel tips
It is Vermont. That means it is highly recommended you rent or bring a car that has 4 wheel drive capabilities. Please keep in mind when driving around there are also spots where cell and wi-fi service does not work so great. We don't have any issues in the cabin but when you are coming and going its good to know.
