Tremont is a neighborhood on the West Side of Cleveland, Ohio, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Tremont is one of the oldest parts of Cleveland, and was historically home to many immigrant groups, including Germans, Greeks, and East Slavs. Today the neighborhood is home to many restaurants and art galleries. The district sits just west of the Cuyahoga River and south of the Ohio City neighborhood. Tremont is home to numerous historic churches including Pilgrim Congregational UCC (founded in 1859), St. Augustine (1893), St. John Cantius (1898), and St. Theodosius Russian Orthodox Cathedral (1912). Tremont is bounded by the Cuyahoga River to the North and East, MetroHealth Medical Center to the South and West 25th Street and Columbus Road to the West.

Cleveland Lakefront Nature Preserve

There's lots of birds and butterflies if you're into following those. Go toward the lake where you can see all kinds of plants and wildlife.
This is a really nice park, and has a lot of uses. Many people walk dogs here, run, read books, take photos, and attend special events (ie, there is a summer farmers market every Tuesday). There is also a playground and decently sized pool with changing rooms.

I've attended North Coast Namaste here, which is a free yoga session on the green hills led by a different local yoga studio each time. Its fun to see different fitness and spots activated in the park and for people to experiences different uses for the space. You can also meet so many good floofers here if you just stay long enough!

The new public square renovations have been amazing! The whole area is kept in very good condition and is a great addition to the central downtown location. There is a restaurant that is located right in the middle which is very good and there have been many additions such as small fountains and small cosmetic details added that make it look particularly appealing! Around the holidays they decorate everything very nicely and sometimes even have activities in the area such as ice skating and it is a good place for food trucks, rallies, various events in the warmer months.

Home of the Cleveland Browns Football Team. The view is excellent, seats comfortable Mobile tickets are easy to use. Parking was easy but the covered lot was very expensive ($40). Overall a great experience.

This is a great re-cycling of a classic downtown department store (Higbee's) into a modern casino. This is where I went as a child to shop and celebrate Christmas, as a teen to explore and have fun. I remember the wooden escalators. Well those are gone but there are lots of vestiges of the old store, nicely preserved in the new use. The casino is fun and the staff are excellent, very friendly. Free parking if you play.
