Great hiking to waterfall and when you come back up you can eat at the lodge which sets on the edge of the cliff. The entire back all is of glass so you can look over the mountain while eating.
There is also a car museum, petting zoo, lake to paddle boat lots to do here!! .

This is a local trail through a wooded area very close to the hobbit house. trials range from very short upto 3 miles. All start and finish at same spot so you can not get lost.

This is a nice park with a view of the Arkansas river that runs through lake Dardanelle. view of the Lock and Dam. Frisbee golf course. Nice park in general. About 5 min away. Historically this park also sits where there were Indian trade route and where the trail of tears came through.

Now if you happen to be here on a Saturday and want possibly the best BBQ you ever had. Look up Ridgewood Brothers BBQ. its close to the hobbit house. It is a local food truck and crazy good BBQ. Best to get their early or order within 24 hours ahead of time. People do travel form other towns for this upto 2 hours away. But its a food truck so you would want to take it to the park close by or back to the hobbit house.

This is not the chain Whatta Burger. If you get the large fry it is for two or three people! Burgers are good. I would try the popcorn chicken as well.
