Kids under 18 are free and they have an awesome collection. They are expanding and renovating 1/2 the museum, so right now it's smallish and manageable in an afternoon.

As more and more historic properties were demolished in the 1960s, a group of preservation-minded Denver citizens joined efforts in 1970 to rescue the home of Titanic survivor Margaret Tobin Brown. The group incorporated as Historic Denver, Inc. and began major restoration efforts in order to return the home’s interior and exterior to its early 20th century grandeur. Guided tours of the Museum reach an average of 45,000 visitors a year, sharing the story of Margaret “Molly” Brown and Denver history. Historic Denver’s Molly Brown House Museum is committed to enhancing the city’s unique identity by telling the story of Margaret “Molly” Brown’s activism, philanthropy and passion through educational programs, exhibits and stewardship.

155 acre of pleasant grounds including two lakes. Two flower gardens, one of which is a replica of George Washington's gardens at Mount Vernon. Interesting shopping and dining nearby on Old South Gaylord Street. We also got married here, so we're biased- but its the best park in Denver.

A short 20 minute drive away, just hop on 6th ave West, exit to C470 and then take the Morrison exit. It’s an amazing natural amphitheatre and some of the world’s greatest musicians have played there. During the day, it’s a great place to catch some fresh air and see some breathtaking (literally breathtaking if you’re not used to the elevation) views of Denver.

Opened in 1908, it’s one of the oldest running amusement parks in the United States. It has some AMAZING retro rides and classic neon signs. They still have an old school style wooden roller coaster, along with more mellow rides, like the carousel. I loved going here as a kid and it’s even more fun as an adult.

The giant 1950s microphone-inspired tower heralds the horizon, but the built-in play value is what really makes this park honoring local radio DJ Paco Sanchez truly extraordinary. Brilliant colors and bold presence aside, it’s the imaginative use of musical references that do the hard work of delivering dynamic play. Notes and scales offer footholds. Sound waves create netted climbing adventures. Chimes travel with kids as they run across the bridge. When iconic play and iconic architecture come together, they make beautiful music. https://www.playlsi.com/en/commercial-playground-equipment/playgrounds/paco-sanchez-park/
