The Safari Park is a very unique experience. See animals from all over the world in a wide open habitat mingling with each other in their herds. The Bird show is one of my favorites as bird trainers demonstrate the different species ability to swoop low over the crowds or show how they hunt and survive.

Dixon Lake is a great place to get out and enjoy the fresh air! You can walk the paths, have a picnic, go fishing or adventure into the nearby Daley Ranch for hiking.

Daley has a lot of great trails for hiking, biking, and horseback riding. Lots of hills to climb/descend with beautiful views of the mountains and valleys.

A very unique and limited experience! Located in the expansive Kit Carson Park, just 5 minutes from my home. Only open on Tue/Thur and the 2nd/4th Saturday’s each month.

Stone Brewery got their start right here in Escondido! Their Bistro & Garden is a local must-see even if you don’t drink beer. Their huge restaurant and brewery is the perfect place to have an intimate date around the pond/fire pits, or even a big event around the gardens and koi ponds. You can take a free tour of the brewery and get gifts from the attached store. Their food is locally sourced and phenomenal. Try their draft cold brew coffee and the ahi nachos!

Visit one of Swamis best locations right here in Escondido. Amazing breakfast and lunch with self serve coffee bar or a full cocktail bar with excellent old fashions. Lots of outdoor seating for the warm afternoons.
