This fun former hippie town has been around for over 150 years. Many of the people you will meet here have lived here for most of their lives. Others are attracted to Mill Valley for its charming downtown, friendly residence, and access to mountain trails for hiking, biking, camping, and the ocean for swimming and surfing. Mill Valley is a great jump-off point to get into San Francisco, Sausalito, Wine Country, Beaches and even to the Sierra Nevada Mountians for some serious adventure.

Food scene
This place is always busy because it is the epicenter for Mill Valley Social life. They have great coffee, chai, tea, snacks, and baked goods. I am often here working and socializing in the mornings, and evenings before coming up the mountain.

A fun, fashionable, colorful and tasty place to eat. From their tasty craft cocktails, flights of tacos, and exotic chef specials. Playa is always a winner. When the weather is nice they have a great patio back with heating lamps.
