Reach by vaporetto line 13, water-bus stop Capannone. You can visit also the little island in front, Lazzaretto Nuovo, the ancient black plague quarantine hospital of the town.

Visit to see the romantic old Hotels near the Palazzo del Cinema. At Lido you can circulate by car, or rent a bike.

At Lido, just near the vaporetto stop, you can rent a bike. With that, you can tour the long and narrow island from an end to the other, from the ancient Church of San Nicolò on one side, to the Lungomare Marconi with the Palazzo del Cinema and Casinò on the other. Don't forget to bike along the 'murazzi', the old sea-walls, a romantical retreat worth visiting.

A wonderful private home of the fifteenth-century on the Canal Grande, lovely renewed by the connoisseur Giorgio Franchetti in the past century, which located in it his great collection of Italian painting, sculpture, tapestries and carpets.
