Going downtown Charleston or beaches.
The main road going downtown Charleston is Interstate 26. Say you're heading to the Aquarium, it's about 23 miles away and should take about 30 minutes during non-rush-hours times. You also have the option to take Dorchester Rd., but that has a lot more traffic lights.
Beaches: Isle of Palms or Folly Beach take about the same time to get there, about 45 minutes during non-rush-hour times.
