The historic seat of Rule in Ireland, and only one 16 minute bus ride from the house, Dublin Castle is surrounded by historic buildings. It is also five minutes walk from Temple Bar. If you prefer, you can cross the River Liffey to Bloom Lane, on the Millennium Bridge, and the Millennium Walkway extends from Bloom Street, for a host of restaurants, and a great atmosphere. At the end of The Millennium Walkway, you will find the rear entrance to Jervis Street Shopping Centre on the corner of Jervis Street, and Abbey Street Upper. I have been to the Guinness Storehouse on several occasions with friends that were visiting Dublin.. The whole area around the Guinness Brewery is a unique experience, and the tour is excellent. The view of Dublin from the top viewing area is amazing, and of course you can enjoy your complimentary pint of Guinness, or one of the many Guinness products that are available, whilst taking in the view from the Top Level Viewing Area. Don't forget to get some pictures..
Don't forget to enjoy the odour of the Roasted Hops while you are in the area!!
