After his death, in 1966, this project was taken off the paper in the form of Celebration, but a little different from what Walt Disney had envisioned: it became a perfect urban grouping that mixes architectural styles common in the North of the United States and was inaugurated in the year of 1994.
The city has beautiful houses organized around a center with a lake, tree-lined sidewalks and several paths that pass through swamps, so famous in Florida. About 9,000 or more people live in Celebration and the Disney Company still owns the entire area. Celebration is growing exponentially. There are movie houses and everything is very clean and well taken care of. It has a very peculiar local trade with shops, bars, cinemas and restaurants. Have a magnificent hospital!
At Christmas, the city is beautifully decorated and reminds us of a magical tale, with snow falling on the beautiful decoration. Don't miss out! It's a walk to relax at the end of the day and take a break from the hustle and bustle of the parks.
