If you only visit one major religious tourist attraction in Da Nang, this should be the one. No matter where you’re staying in Da Nang, the chances are you’ll always see a beautiful white Buddha statue overlooking the city from the peninsula. Built-in 2004 the pagoda was one of the most sacred pagodas in Da Nang and is used for important Buddist ceremonies. Dress modestly when visiting the Linh Ung Pagoda, which basically means not to reveal too many body parts.

My Khe is a picturesque beach with blue sky, a gentle slope, smooth white sand, and clear water. It was listed as one of the most luxurious beaches in the world by Forbes Magazine. In the early morning and evening, the beach fills up with city folk doing yoga, t’ai chi, dancing, and surfing. Tourists emerge during peak suntanning hours, while locals prefer the late afternoon when the sun is down; in the evening, fishermen still cast off from the sands in their coracle boats.

First thing to know when you arrive in Da Nang

Getting around Grab | Top car service in the region I must say. Install an app if you haven’t, type in the destination, choose either car/motorbike, and leave the rest for Grab to handle. The added option of paying cash is also a bonus. The price can be higher at night, on holiday, and ... on a rainy day but Grab knows it has grabbed its reputation! There is also a Grab Bike option for someone who wants to save the budget for traveling inner city. A Kayak experience on Tien Sa Water

If you are a sea lover then you should embark on a new and exciting adventure like a kayaking experience. A great way to get active and explore Son Tra Penisula with a different view. Note: I paid 380.000VND for a session (after a discount), the normal price was 480.000VND I registered the session on the Da Nang Kayak club Facebook page. You can also hire a kayak (not on a tour and not with a guide). There is a place on My Khe beach that offers hour kayaks/sups hire.
