Hang gliding lessons, a reminder of visionary Wright Brother's, can be booked or watched. Many an Outbanks photographer has been summoned to take photos of surprise engagements. Adventure, romance, and breath taking view...what more could you ask for!

The shark tank with live divers is a must see. Hands on tanks with sea stars and stingrays is sweet not to mention the sea turtle rescue tanks with techs that discuss their care and rehab.

Super place to swim because of the great bath house, restrooms, snack and gift shop and free parking. We love to fish on the pier or just take an evening stroll. Surf contests are held in this location annually as well.

Frozen custard is unique! It's not like icecream or frozen yogurt. Yes, you have to try it. Creamier and richer than icecream. Vanilla is the way to go...once you tried vanilla nothing else will do!
