Just across the street from the condo is Mitchelleville Freedom Park- where Union General Mitchell freed nearby slaves -who created the first town run by freed Slaves in the US- an historic place to visit and walk thru to learn more of the history of HHI.
Mitchelleville is called the town where freedom began and we are glad our condo is located in this historic Mitchellville area
