This is my Wife and I's favorite place to eat. It's where we first starting going to when we were dating and working on the house. The staff is super friendly, and the food is cheap. We've been around the world, and it's the best Indian food we've had. We recommend the butter chicken, and mango lassi.

We've been around the world, and it's the best Indian food we've had. We recommend the butter chicken, and mango lassi.
My Wife and I have been to farmer markets across 20 different countries, and various ones across the USA. Eastern Market definitely competes in it's variety, and vastness of food options. This is a vibrant location that is worth checking out, and buying some food.

My Wife and I's favorite pizza joint in town is Supino. We usually just get a cheese pizza, and some cannoli's. They serve more traditional Italian pizza with unique ingredients. It's a bit pricey, but is totally worth it.

A bit expensive, but is diffidently a treat. They're tofu fish, tastes like real fish! Take a stroll afterwards in the lovely West Village neighborhood.

Raven Lounge is possibly the oldest continuously operating blues bar in the state. The location is a hop, skip and a jump from my house. It's totally worth the trip for some authentic blues and soul food. They are open Fri, Sat & Sun, and there is a cover charge.

This is a great place for a bike ride, and or to walk and stroll along the Detroit River! I recommend biking from the Renaissance Building to Belle Island.
