Nice selection of ban chan. Fluffy steamed egg dish served in stone pot and the bean paste soup (included) were both excellent. Mung bean cake (included) was sub-par (dry and cardboardy - maybe sat around too long in the back?) - but all the other ban chan were good. Good for everyone.

I love this restaurant, by far the best pho broth around. My family and I go to this restaurant at least 2 times a month. The service is fast and the pho is huge. Egg rolls come out hot and crunchy. We usually order two large pho with hot tea and egg rolls. With our stomach extra full we leave with paying a little over $20 it's a great deal. Good for hangovers :)

I actually visited Milk twice in my quick trip to LA. The ice cream is creamy and flavorful. I sampled a few of the flavors and the Thai tea ended up being my favorite. Not a lot of places can get Thai tea right and Milk does. I was so excited to see that they had a Thai tea macaroon." - yelper. Good for groups, late nights.

If you want something healthy for lunch or dinner, surf city fish grill is the place to go! They have many healthy options you can choose from that are delicious and filling! I had the grilled chicken rice bowl with a free side of sweet potato fries (from yelp check in), and I was not disappointed at all. They give you a generous portion of chicken, which was very tender and moist! You get the option of brown rice or rice pilaf for the bowl (I went with the rice pilaf). I was surprised at how much fries they gave me, considering it was free. Total came out to be $8.63 including tax. That is not bad at all, considering how much they give you and the quality of the food!

Great Taco Tuesday place for 1.19 for Al Pastor, Carnitas, Fish Ensenada, Carne Asada, Chicken, and Shrimp is 2$. I am a big fan of fish, and even after being spoiled by San Diego's Fish taco treasures during my school years, this place is still pretty good in my book. The sauces are a bit lacking in kick/flavor, but for 1.19 it's nothing to complain about especially since the tacos are pretty decent.

Favorite Museum
I love art and I love that there are so many museums in LA to choose from. LACMA is one of my favorite museums to visit. I love that there's so much to see without having to even pay for admission. Paying for parking is another thing but that's to be expected unless you get really lucky! Most people love to take pictures of the iconic Urban Light fixture out front which looks great both during the day and at night. Another popular attraction is Levitated Mass, the giant boulder affixed out back which you can walk underneath.

This museum is amazing!!!! I can't believe I haven't gone here sooner. Although quite different from the museums you will see in Europe, this one is modern, and situated on top of the hills in Brentwood. You get the greatest views of Los Angeles County. It's free to get in, although you do need to take a tram which costs $15. But even the tram ride is nice and it gives you a view of Bel Aire. Considering it was a weekend it wasn't that busy arriving at noon. They have an amazing restaurant on premise, which does take reservations, just not the day of.

The work is switched around often, and there are special exhibitions and shows of commissioned work, sometimes for incredibly brief periods of time, more than flirting with the label of elitist. Housed in a former Masonic Temple, quite a bit of the original architecture and even decoration has been preserved, and there's even a fascinating room honoring the various crafts and almost folk art of Freemason pageantry, chosen from what was left behind when the building was vacated decades ago.
