Interesting and vast arab fortification standing on Mount Benacantil! Just 5 min walking distance from my place! Psss... I'll tell you what the legend says: if you go down to the Postiguet’s beach, take a look at the castle. Can you see that strange face engraved in the rock? It's called the Face of the Moor.

I'll tell you what the legend says: if you go down to the Postiguet’s beach, take a look at the castle. Can you see that strange face engraved in the rock? It's called the Face of the Moor.
An archeologycal museum to know more about ancient civilizations. Pay also attention to the temporary exhibitions! In case yoiu're not the cultural thing doesnt't convince you you can just have a coffe on their terrace and enjoy the sun!

Very charming and a bit hidden little place on the slopes of Mount Benacantil. Enjoy the colourful small houses with flowers and the views from the top. Worth the walk and as you can see it's very close to St Nicholas and El Barrio!
