Delicious food and pricier than other restaurants but in our view worth it for a special occasion. The only down side is that the dining room has lots of hard surfaces so can be a bit noisy.

The Met is a large pub within easy walking distance. Great in the summer for sitting outside and in the winter for large open fires. The food is good pub food. It is very popular.

Recently extended the Whitworth is located in Platt Fields Part and the new extension takes advantage of this beautifully. The garden to the side of the Gallery is well worth a visit and is usually empty.
