This restaurant is right next to the ferry dock, with a great view of the water, so it is a convenient spot to get a bite to eat and tropical drinks before you take the ferry back to St. Thomas. Keep in mind that food prices on St. John are generally higher than St. Thomas.

The best place to enjoy authentic Virgin Islands dishes. Locals and visitors love this restaurant, and it reflects in their Trip Advisor ratings. Try the catch of the day or some conch in butter sauce with a side of fungi ("foon-jee" similar to polenta) and green banana. Delicious!!

Another perfect spot for viewing beautiful Magen's Bay. Popular location for taking pictures. Right across the street (watch out for passing cars!) is the spot on the hillside where Sir Francis Drake is rumored to have been on the lookout for enemy ships.

Right around the corner from Drake's Seat is Skyline Drive. A lookout point was built to give visitors a head-on view of the harbor. View the blue waters, cruise ships and boats. Fantastic stop on the way to Magen's Bay. Watch out for traffic since the lookout is on a busy road.

If you don't feel like going straight to the condo when you arrive, this beach is just a few minutes from the airport. Next to the University of the Virgin Islands. Nice location to see small fish.

Water Island is now "officially" one of the main US Virgin Islands. It's so close you can see it from the condo and waterfront. Go to Tickles in Crown Bay Marina to ask about the pickup location and schedule. Great getaway beach spot.

Coral World located on the East End is great place to see a cross section of the various types of marine life around the Virgin Islands. Hold starfish and sea cucumbers in the touch pool, and see reef sharks and fish in the underwater observatory.

Because I visited here often as a child. Coki Beach has clear waters and little fish that swim around your feet. Take pics here and send home to your friends to make them jealous. Adjacent is the Coral World Marine Park & Underwater Observatory.
