Restaurant/fishing pier/bar all in one. More of a place to visit for the sights, not the food. Fair food and cheap drinks ($1 beers during happy hour) all overlooking the Chesapeake Bay with wonderful views! Also includes "no license" fishing off the pier. This is pretty much a must see!...but be ready to wait awhile to get your food and don't expect much about the food.

This is pretty much a must see!...but be ready to wait awhile to get your food and don't expect much about the food.
The church we attended when we lived in Norfolk. It's technically Baptist but you would never know (took us about 2 years to realize). We considered it more non-denominational. Younger crowd, great children's church (we miss what our son had when we went here) and very welcoming to visitors. Services are 9:09 and 11:11.

Cheap drinks and a cool atmosphere with a beach accessible porch. Little bit of a more rowdy crowd and service isn't top notch. One of the best bars within walking distance though. Has brunch on Sundays. This bar will be permanently closing soon so please check online or call ahead before going.

Our favorite Chinese food! Delivery can take quite awhile though (hour or more) and eating at the restaurant is a bad idea (not a good setting at all). We recommend you have it delivered or get take out but they are pretty slow.
