This is one of most budget friendly female spas in town, and is a fabulous place to go to heal (pools of hot and cold water, sauna, salt room, steam room, medidation room) and beautify (spa scrub or massage). It is my go-to place, especially because they offer an early bird discount most days of the week

Located in Green Lake, Bongos Café serves authentic Caribbean cuisine in a casual beach in the middle of a city atmosphere. There's a segment of the Seattle population that argues these sandwiches are better than the ones at Paseo or Un Bien. I'm inclined to agree with them, but it shouldn't even be a discussion because Paseo and Un Bien barely even have places to sit, while Bongos has converted an old gas station by Green Lake into a Caribbean coastal shack, beach and all. Put your toes in the sand and bask in the glow of the neon building it makes the sandwiches taste even better.

So literally this is just a back alley wall with a bunch of gross gum on it. BUT the hype of it is fun. Ppl from all over the world go and see it. I don’t really get the hype but I’m still glad I went and saw it. You cant go to Seattle without walking through Pike Market so you might as well see this gum wall! Buy some bubble before you go, take a cute picture, and add you’re nasty chewed gum to the wall. The energy down the alley way will make you smile and laugh. Everyone there is having a good time! Apparently it all started because of the theater that is located there....they had a no gum policy so as ppl would enter they would spit their gum out and place it on the wall

Shopping

Overall, this is one of the best Goodwill locations in Seattle. They have a decent sized parking lot and are right on the bus line for folks who ride mass transit. It's a pretty busy location but if you get tired shopping, there are often couches around the store to take a break. The store houses a decent selection of goods and there are often hidden gems to be found. The staff has always been friendly and helpful.

You want a well curated vintage shop in a swell little neighborhood? LOOK NO FURTHER. The owners really care about what they place in their stock between the knick knacks, local goods, LPs, sick threads and furniture you could spend all day perusing. Really sweet atmosphere; it is truly a place run by a passion for relics of the past & community in a way that is very rare around Seattle these days.

I think the Sunday ice cream boat cruise is so perfect for friends visiting Seattle. Compared to many others it is inexpensive ($12 for adults I think) but gives a fun and informative tour of Lake Union. My parents and in-laws both enjoyed it and a couple times we have been the only patrons on it which is fun. Quiet and low-key! http://www.seattleferryservice.com/sunday-ice-cream.../...
