This year-round farmer's market, coffee and pastry shop is one of the most charming places in our neighborhood. Get local coffee, fresh produce, frozen meat, chips, salsa, anything grown and produced in Michigan you can find here (obviously no bananas, limes or lemons though!)

An Ann Arbor icon (and internationally known). This is not your usual deli (by price or anything really). These guys are curating of the best products from around the world and have been a mainstay in Ann Arbor since the mid-80s. Lines down the street in the Fall with Alumni having a nostalgic moment.

The Huron River runs through the city and is often hard to get to. A trip down the river (over some Cascades) in a rented Kayak or Canoe is a great way to experience the river and feel like you are in a whole other world. The kayak trip takes you from Argo to Gallup park, where they will drive ou back to your car at Argo at the end of your trip!

theride.org - Ann Arbor's bus system may leave some big city types disappointed but it is one the best bus systems I've ever experienced in a town of 120K people. There are stops on W. Huron by the YMCA (2 blocks away) and on W. Liberty (just up the street)
