Outdoor Locations and Activities
A list of summer and winter outdoor locations of places that we like to go to. This includes everything from hiking, snowshoeing, sledding, skiing, mountain biking, paddle boarding, skating, etc… Many of these locations have a timeline of open seasons of when to go so make sure to look online for that.

World class skiing and mountain biking. The skiing is tough. There is some great mountain biking here. If you take the chair up there are some nice flowy trails and fun jumps.

Fun place to float paddleboard during summer months.
One of the most common places to go mountain biking or back country skiing. Tons of routes to. North side is glory a boot pack up. South side you can go to east or chives side and can hitchhike back up. Or go the west side. You need some skins.

Phelps Lake
Fun place to hike. Has some very scenic cliff jumping.
A really fun hot springs to check out. You will have to pay to get into the park. The water is kind of dirty but there is a small waterfall to put your body underneath.

Darby canyon wind cave trail. A really fun hike that will take you to some very cool wind caves and waterfall. Be careful in early months because the route up to the wind caves can be treacherous.

Its about and an hour drive from the cabin. You will need a four wheel drive vehicle to get there. Once at the trailhead there is a 15 minute walk into the lake. Once in there, the lake is very beautiful. There is a rope swing into the lake and a log to try and board walk across. One of my favorite places to go.

Once in there, the lake is very beautiful. There is a rope swing into the lake and a log to try and board walk across. One of my favorite places to go.
