Voss Gondol is the largest and most modern mountain gondola in Northern-Europe. The ride starts at Voss Station (56 MASL) and ends at Hangurstoppen (820 MASL). Voss Gondol has 9 cabins, running continuously, with room for 34 people in each.
At the top station Hangurstoppen (820 MASL), you will find areas for recreation and activities. During summer, one can go hiking (short and long hikes), biking and paragliding. During winter, you can immediately access the ski resort from the top station. A ski school and ski rental is also be located at the top station. The ski resort is one of the largest in Western Norway.
In addition, a new restaurant is based at the top station; Hangurstoppen Restaurant. Here, you can enjoy both hot and cold food and drinks, based on local ingredients and suppliers.
From Hangurstoppen, you have a great panorama view of the mountains surrounding Voss.

Visit Voss' historical grounds at our local historical museum. Mølstertunet is situated on a hilltop with a beautiful view of Vossavangen. It is a beautiful farm cluster with sixteen small and large buildings. The buildings still stand on their original sites – nothing has been moved either to or from the farm cluster. The buildings provide a genuine picture of the building style and way people used to live in olden times.
The permanent collection at Voss Folk Museum is under renovation and the new exhibition will open during summer 2020. The new exhibition will accentuate our rich collection of folk art, it will focus on events and people that have left their mark on Voss.

The deep and imposing Bordalsgjelet has been adapted for the visiting public with an information board, a viewpoint and benches for resting tired legs. When the ground isn’t hidden by snow it is possible to follow a purposely-built path that guides you to the gorge.
