Ulriken is the highest of the seven mountains that surround the city of Bergen. It has an altitude of 643 meters above sea level. Ulriken has an antenna tramway, Ulriksbanen, which can bring people to the top. At the top there is a TV tower, a restaurant and free telescopes. There is a network of trails along Ulriken, which is a popular hike with several trails up from steep to not so steep.

The killing of a Norwegian agent and two Gestapo officers triggered the Telavåg tragedy.The museum has a new permanent exhibition about the Telavåg tragedy and North Sea traffic during World War II, and changing exhibitions that focus on war and peace.

The fortress at Fjell is one of Norways largest military facilities from WW2. Construction started in 1942, with the intent of guarding the port of Bergen from military attacks from the Allied forces.
