You can have morning tea or lunch at the Honeypot cafe or the Plough & Feather, look around the gardens and the Store and then do the walk back up to where you’ve parked at Rainbow falls.

Take the car ferry over from Opua so after you’ve had a look around Russell you can drive to Long Beach. It’s only a few minutes away and a beautiful beach for swimming.
