Breathtaking natural beauty! It's definitely worth a day trip to Colorado Springs for a hike and some amazing pictures. You could plan it with a visit to Cave of the Winds as well.

Best Mountain Resorts
The World's Largest Hot Springs! So relaxing and amazing! Well worth the 3-hour, scenic drive into Glenwood Canyons to stay in the mountains for a night or two! Be sure to take the gondola to Glenwood Caverns, America's only mountain-top theme park, to ride the giant canyon swing, the cliffhanger roller coaster and the alpine slides. Also be sure to hike to nearby Hanging Lake when its open.

A-Basin is known for having the longest ski and ride season in Colorado from mid-October to June or even July some years!  A skiers dream, perfect for all skill levels, and only 1.5 hours from our home!
