This is a quick list of my favourites - please message me if you stumble on more during your stay that must be added. I'll be light on details, other than their names, so please Google them. It feels like Ballarat is changing by the day....with new places opening and more and more creative souls moving to this stunning city.
Book early, it's a tiny degustation-only, and pronounced something like oondabar. I still haven't been:( but I have heard it's nothing short of spectacular.

Cheerful, excellent food and service, awesome for kids and adults alike, it's a staple with my family.

Breakfast in this always busy cafe is a must, and the streetscape of Webster Street and surrounds makes me smile every time.

Super cool, their website says it's based on the hawker dining bars of SE Asia....my kind of place, think Melbourne's Chin Chin.
