“The museum is situated mainly in a new building but below ground you will see some of the oldest parts of Waterford in it's wine cellars. I thoroughly reccommend the guided tour. You'll learn a lot about Waterford's connections to the UK & it's monarchy especially Henry the 8th. Also the museum is home to 'Heaven's embroidered cloths'. Imortalised in the W.B Yeats poem 'Clothes of heaven. They are beautiful & what a history they have. The guided tour with tell you all about them too. ”
