“I don't know how many dozens of beers this place has on tap (50+). Great rotating beer lists, loads of locals to try, and very good food mixed with friendly service. The renovated former salt building is a great adaptive reuse of an iconic architectural building in an area that's largely been de-industrialized. This is a good place for kids, too.”

“FAV SPOT! Live music, snacks and great prices. Early on it’s more relaxed, later it turns into a bar with dancing in a bar/cave environment. Cover is by donation to artists most nights. Drinks are average priced. This is a hidden gem and not yet overly popular. Also great odds you may see one of the many celebrities living in Vancouver! Perfect second stop after dinner in Gastown! ”

Hockey Arena
“Rogers Arena is an indoor sports arena located at 800 Griffiths Way in the downtown area of Vancouver, British Columbia. Opened in 1995, the arena was known as General Motors Place (GM Place) from its opening until July 6, 2010, when General Motors Canada ended its naming rights sponsorship and a new agreement for those rights was reached with Rogers Communications. Rogers Arena was built to replace Pacific Coliseum as Vancouver's primary indoor sports facility and in part due to the National Basketball Association's 1995 expansion into Canada, when Vancouver and Toronto were given expansion teams.”

At over 90 years old, the Orpheum is an incredible setting for shows of all kinds and has hosted millions of people since its opening in 1927. This opulent venue is a great way to see your favourite artist or experience the magic of the symphony. The interior features antique décor, sweeping staircases, and a domed auditorium complete with ceiling mural and giant crystal chandelier.”
