“Eat poolside. Most of their produce comes from their garden on the property, which you can actually go and see. Yes, gardens can grow in the desert! The grounds are a nice way to spend the time if there's a wait or after your meal.”

“If you’re visiting the national park this is a great place for dinner - it’s a bit of a drive but totally worth it, quirky and adventurous food in a homemade kitchen ”

“29 Palms' own casino. American Indian owners also own Spotlight 29. This one is newer, small and more modest but is slowly growing. They have plans :-) . Live music on Fridays. Currently open 24 hours and you can get a late drink. ”

“Really good mesquite wood barbecue ribs. Fresh every day. The owner cooks them himself sometimes. Affordable, but cheap - really worth it if you like ribs. Locals, Marines, and tourists all mix together here. They have other food too. Outside patio for after dark. 10 minutes drive. A more family place would be Applebee's in Yucca Valley 15 minutes further down the road.”

Restaurant
“The chips and salsa are addicting, the atmosphere and staff are always awesome. It is a busy place on Friday and Saturday nights. The bar seems to be popular. The tacos are pretty good, but the burritos and enchiladas are great and the beans and rice seemed quite authentic. The margaritas are excellent also.”
