“Shops, food, and art! Check out the Mercado annex too. It’s just a short walk. All the shops are in remodeled storage containers. ”

“Sweet and savory fancy breakfast eats in a modern chic atmosphere. More fancy than our other breakfast recommendations, but casual clothing is also suitable because we’re in the desert college town. ”

“Travel from South America to the rain forest, and then to the African savannah in one day all from Tucson at the Reid Park Zoo.”

“5 Points Market is a great place for breakfast or lunch, in a beautifully repurposed old building-- they can be very busy on the weekends, but worth the wait (or plan to arrive on the early end!). A 2015 mention in the NY Times described Five Points Market as "like a bit of Williamsburg dropped into a historic intersection in a funky but fast-developing part of town." Plan to drive or bike over to Five Points Market, and explore the surrounding historic neighborhoods of Barrio Viejo and Armory Park. ”

“Wonderful restaurant and indoor market with occasional outdoor market outdoors. Attached to the historical train station. Ask the employees about the history, or take a walk behind the building to see and read about the train station John Dillinger used to escape while on the run. Only after setting the 3rd story of historical and haunted hotel congress on fire. ”

“Roadhouse Cinemas is a dine-in movie theater, with reserved seating (make reservations on their website). They have food, drinks, desserts, and even alcoholic beverages all brought to the comfort of your seat during the movie with the push of a button. If you like popcorn, they have the best popcorn I have ever had. The white cheddar popcorn is amazing, and if you like a little spice, go half jalapeno, half white cheddar. If you like sweet popcorn, they have you covered as well. Even better is that it is unlimited and you can even take your bowl to the front popcorn counter on your way out and get a bag to go.”

“You can go out to eat downtown to the Hub, or just grab a scoop of ice cream. The restaurant is a hip design. The menu has something for everyone from sandwiches and burgers to pasta. Their ice cream menu is very elaborate, so check out their website. There is also a Hub ice cream shop across the street if you are just out for dessert. ”

Night Club
“Famous as being the place where notorious outlaw John Dillinger was captured in 1935, Hotel Congress has played host to many intriguing personalities throughout the years (and some say, ghosts, too). Drop in to the club or Taproom, named by Rolling Stone Magazine as one of America's top "rock and roll bars". ”
